Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 8 cups cold water
- 7 slices (quarter-sized) fresh ginger
- 2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 large lemon, thinly sliced, for garnish

How To Make ginger lemonade

Step 1Combine sugar, 2 cups water, and ginger in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice. Cool 15 minutes. Remove ginger.

Step 2Add remaining 6 cups water. Refrigerate at least 1 hour, or until chilled.

Step 3Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon slices.
