Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 8 c
    cold water
  • 7 slice
    (quarter-sized) fresh ginger
  • 2 c
    freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 large
    lemon, thinly sliced, for garnish
  • ·
    ice

How to Make GINGER LEMONADE

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine sugar, 2 cups water, and ginger in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice. Cool 15 minutes. Remove ginger.
  2. Add remaining 6 cups water. Refrigerate at least 1 hour, or until chilled.
  3. Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon slices.
