I thought I was finished posting, but made these today and decided to share with my friends. I don't know how many Cherry Lime-Aid fans we have out there but I LOVE it. I think it is the tart/sweet taste. It may be an acquired taste but if you love it also, try this one! It is icy, refreshing, and the carbonation from the soda kicks it up a bit! NOTE: The recipe is original to me. The picture is not. We drank it all before I decided to post. The picture looks exact to the finished product and the glasses are much prettier than mine! :-)

Ingredients For cherry lime-aid icy joy

  • 12 oz
    frozen cherries
  • 2 c
    crushed ice (can use regular ice; just blend longer)
  • 4 Tbsp
    honey
  • 2
    limes (juice of)
  • 2 c
    lemon-lime soda

How To Make cherry lime-aid icy joy

    Place all ingredients in blender. Blend on liquefy (or similar setting) until all ingredients are combined and icy.

    Now, taste it. I like mine tart but if you want it sweeter, add some sugar or Splenda to taste. (more honey is not recommended).

    Pour into glasses and top off with some lemon-lime soda. Enjoy a trip to cherry lime-aid heaven!
