A great way to warm up on a cold winter evening and equally good for the kids as well as the adults!

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces milk chocolate chopped very fine
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons chambord raspberry liqueur - omit for non alcoholic
  • - whipped cream and fresh raspberries for garnish

How To Make raspberry hot chocolate 2 ways

  • Step 1
    Combine everything except the liqueur, whipped cream and fresh raspberries in a small saucepan. Place over medium heat, stirring occasionally until all of the chocolate is melted. Continue to cook, stirring often, until mixture is smooth and slightly thickened - this can take about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in liqueur. Omit this step if no alcohol is desired. Pour into hot mugs and top with whipped cream and garnish with a raspberry if desired.
