- 1 - fifth of water
- 2 quarts cherries, not black cherries
- 2 cups sugar

Step 1Combine in gallon jar. Stir everyday for 1 week; until sugar is dissolved. Let stand until Christmas. Usually 3 months.. Enjoy!
