I am creating this beverage for the Seaside Brasserie's - Beach Movie Challenge. I chose Mama Mia and wanted a Greek inspired drink. This drink is a lovely surprise, sweet, yet very refreshing, the many flavors in ouzo blend well with the orange juice and cola. I couldn't find any, but if you can find blood oranges use them, it will give this sweet drink a little more acid. I would suggest shaking the drink until the ice cubes melt. The little bit of water really adds to the overall flavor of the finished cocktail.

Ingredients

1 - 1 1/2 ounces ouzo
1/8 cup blood orange juice, fresh squeezed
3 ice cubes
3 - marashino cherries, smashed lightly to release flavor
3/4 - 1 cups cola (coke)
4 ice cubes
1 slice orange or lime, garnish

How To Make the 3 father's drink

Step 1

Pour the ouzo, orange juice, ice and cherries into a shaker and shake for 1 minute.

Step 2

Pour the mixture into a chilled glass with ice.
Step 3

Now top it off with the coke.
Step 4

Garnish with a slice of orange or lime, or both and enjoy.
