I like this sauce with more Horseradish than I list. You can add more to taste and make hotter, whatever you like!

Ingredients

  • 1 jar heinz chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish. i use the hot one.
  • 1 - lemon, squeeezed and some zest of the lemon.
  • 2 - 3 - avocado's, diced
  • - salt
  • 1 - 2 pounds uncooked shrimp

How To Make shrimp cocktail sauce

  • Step 1
Pour the chili sauce in a bowl. Add the horseradish.
  • Step 2
lemon juice and zest of the lemon. Salt to taste.
  • Step 3
Dice the Avodado's and add to the sauce.
  • Step 4
You have 2 choices for the shrimp. You can cut the tails off the shrimp and slice them in half and add them to the sauce or you can cut off or leave the tails on and place them in a seperate bowl for dipping into the sauce. If you add them to the sauce, you can divide into seperate bowls, add a slice of lemon onto the rim of the bowl and garnish with a sprig of parsley and serve as a traditional shrimp cocktail.
