After making up this recipe the first time, the name "Power Outage" came to mind because if you drink too much of it, you'll have a power outage. I actually had to dilute my drink with a little milk. Use your judgment. Meanwhile, original recipe says it will store up to 2 months in refrigerator and Hub-E quipped, "It won't last that long!"

Original recipe came from allrecipes.com

My contribution to this recipe is the carmel sauce. Prost!

How to Make Power Outage Irish Creme

Step-by-Step

  1. Blend all ingredients (heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, Irish whiskey, istant coffee granules, vanilla extract, almond extract, chocolate syrup and carmel sauce) in a blender on high for about a minute or two.
  2. Pour into a bottle, and store in refrigerator. Shake well before pouring and serving. Supposedly will keep up to 2 months in the refrigerator, if you can make it last that long.
