panorama punch
The 1962 World's Fair hit Seattle at the height of the tiki bar rage. Trader Vic's Polynesian Restaurant was a block from the fairgrounds, and the Fair's Hawaiian Tiki Village was a very popular exhibit. And one of the premium cocktails served at the 'Eye of the Needle' (restaurant at the top of the Space Needle) was Panorama Punch. It was served with 2 straws and sold for $1.75. The recipe was never revealed. But "beachbum" Jeff Berry has stated this is close to the true Panorama Punch recipe. Even if it's not authentic, it's AWESOME!
