holiday essentials: baileys irish cream
Just in time for the holidays. I make this in small batches all year long, but during the holidays, I make tonnes of the stuff, and give it away as a holiday gift. Along with my homemade limoncello I am working towards getting everyone happy, and drunk, during the holidays. No cooking, no problem, easy/peasy. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

- PLAN/PURCHASE
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk, 1 can
- 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 2/3 cups irish whiskey

Step 1PREP/PREPARE

Step 2Add the instant coffee to 1 - 2 tablespoons of hot, hot water, when it dissolves and cools down, add it to the other ingredients, shake and you are finished. Leave it in the fridge overnight, to give the ingredients a chance to know each other, and that is it.

Step 4Baileys can be used in your coffee, or just splashed over some ice, up to you. Enjoy.
