I was going to have a special guest on Friday, May 17th. They were JAP friends, Cindy Strawser and her husband. So I decided to fix a special dessert, We'll call it Elvis Delight. Everyone that ate it liked it, so I guess it was a success. This was a wonderful experience and I hope to do it again. I hope you like the recipe.

  • 1 pkg
cookies of your choice, i would use vanilla wafers or graham crackers
  • 2 box
    chocolate pudding, instant
  • 2 box
    banana pudding, instant
  • 1 large
    whipped topping, thawed
  • 6 c
    cold milk
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese
  • 2/3 c
    peanut butter
  • 2/3 c
    powdered sugar

How to Make Zelda's Elvis Delight

  1. I used a trifle bowl but any glass bowl would do. Take a bowl and mix the chocolate pudding with three cups of cold milk and set aside, then repeat the process with the banana pudding and set aside. With a third bowl mix the cream cheese with the peanut butter. When mixed add the powdered sugar in slowly. Then add about 8 oz of whipped topping.
Now layer crushed cookies in the bottom, add layer of chocolate pudding, then banana pudding, then whipped topping.Add layer of crushed cookies. Then you add all of peanut butter mixture. Then cookies again, repeat chocolate pudding, then banana pudding and then top with whipped topping.
This could be made with diabetic pudding.
