rice pudding, mom's recipe
This is a really old recipe and I had forgotton all about it until my BF's mom was asking about it. Hunted up the recipe and here it is.

Ingredients
- 6 cups milk
- 1 cup white rice, i usually use long grain
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 large egg yolks, beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Step 1Put milk and rice in a heavy sauce pan, bring to a low simmer, stir from time to time, and continue to cook until rice is done. I like a teflon pan the best for this.

Step 2In a bowl whisk everything else and stir it into cooked rice.

Step 3Continue to simmer until thick enough.

Step 4Serve warm or cold.
