peaches n cream dessert

This is a different take on peach cobbler. The cream cheese just adds great flavor along with the peaches. A friend gave me gave me this recipe years ago. I made it for almost every gathering I went to and it was a favorite. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 packages french vanilla instant pudding
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 6 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 1 large can peaches
- 1 cup sugar
- 16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons sugar cinnamon mixture
How To Make peaches n cream dessert

Step 1Mix, flour, pudding, and baking powder.

Step 2Combine eggs, milk and butter, add to dry ingredients, Mix well, Spread into 9 x 13 inch pan.

Step 3Drain peaches and save 2/3 cup of peach liquid. Lay drained peaches on top of mixture in pan.

Step 4Beat 2 8oz packages of cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and the 2/3 cup peach liquid until mixed.

Step 5Pour the cream cheese mixture on top of the peaches in the pan.

Step 6Sprinkle the top with the cinnamon sugar mixture

Step 7Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes
