As you can see from the photo, I stopped at Layer 3. This is an 8x8 pan and it was over-flowing! This is good, but man oh man it is pure sugar! Very good, but be prepared - it's sweet!!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped + 1/4 c.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 cups cool whip
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 small boxes white chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 1 can 15 oz. pumpkin
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

How To Make layered pumpkin dessert

  • Step 1
    Layer 1: Mix flour, butter & 1/2 c. pecans together. Press into 8x8 pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350*. Remove & allow to cool
  • Step 2
    Layer 2: Blend cream cheese and powdered sugar, add 1 cup cool whip. Speed over cooled crust.
  • Step 3
    Layer 3: Mix milk, pudding mix, canned pumpkin, pumpkin spice and 1 cup cool whip until smooth. Spread over top of layer 2.
  • Step 4
    Layer 4: Spread remaining 1 cup cool whip and sprinkle pecans. Let chill 3 hours before serving.
