Ingredients

  • 4 c
    french bread cubes
  • 3 large
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large
    apples, peeled, pared, and chopped fine
  • 1 3/4 c
    hot water
  • 1/4 c
    margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    golden raisins
  • 1 large
    cool whip

How to Make French Apple Bread Pudding

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs; add condensed milk; apples, water, margarine, cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir in bread and raisins, completely moistening. Turn into a buttered 9 inch baking pan; Bake 1 hour or until firm. Cool. Serve warm with whipped cream.
