I found a version of this recipe on www.yummly.com and altered it to fit my family's taste and the needs of the event I was planning.

Ingredients

2 packages french vanilla flavored instant pudding
2 cups milk
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1 can crushe pineapple, drained
16 ounces cool whip, thawed

How To Make creamy cool pineapple salad

Step 1

in mixing bowl, add milk and pudding, mix on low until blended

Step 2

add softened cream cheese and continue mixing
Step 3

add drained pineapple, continue mixing
Step 4

fold in cool whip topping, reserve about 1 cup to use for topping
Step 5

either place in parfait cups or fancy bowl, top with remaining cool whip. Cool for several hours until set to your liking
