Just good old chocolate pudding. Ya know what's in this. Why use the box? Simple easy yummy

Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Handful chocolate chips
  • 1 pinch cinnamon optional

How To Make chocolate pudding

  • Step 1
    Stir dry ingredients in sauce pan. Add milk and turn on high whisking until mixed well
  • Step 2
    Continue to stir and check temp of liquid you can cook on high but must turn down before boiling point as it can scald the milk. Easy stick your finger in when it's warm turn heat to medium and continue to stir.
  • Step 3
    Once it hits boil on medium heat continue to whisk for 60 seconds.
  • Step 4
    Turn heat off add butter . Chocolate chips. Vanilla and continue to whisk until chips and butter have all melted and are incorporated.
  • Step 5
    Pour into serving bowl or individual cups. Cover with plastic wrap and allow wrap to touch the top of pudding while cooling in frig. Cool for about 2 hours. Top with whip cream
