My friend shared this with me and I'm so glad she did! This is so good, like a cinnamon roll to me.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 - loaf pepperidge farm raisin bread, cubed
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 cup sugar

How To Make bread pudding

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350*
  • Step 2
    Mix first four ingredients with a wrisk. Stir into bread crumbs. Pour into ungreased dish. (I spray mine lightly with Pam spray).
  • Step 3
    Cook 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • Step 4
    Sauce: Melt butter in sauce pan on low heat, remove from heat cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Mix water and egg; add to the butter(make sure it's cool). Stir in sugar cook on medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and when sugar dissolves remove from heat and let cool 10 minutes. Pour over pudding.
