Banana's Foster Custard Doughnut Pudding
1/2 cbutter, cut in pieces
1/2 cbrown sugar, packed
6 Tbspgolden pancake syrup, i used mrs.butterworth original
3medium bananas,cut lengthwise, then diced 1/2 inch
3 largeeggs, beaten
1 cmilk,i used 2%
3 largeglazed stale doughnuts,i used krispy cream, cut bite-size
garnishtop with cinnamon
How to Make Banana's Foster Custard Doughnut Pudding
- Repeat layering ending with the banana mixture.Press slightly to get all the doughnut pieces wet. Sprinkle top with cinnamon.Place dish on sided cookie tray,to catch any run-over.
Bake for 35 minute, then turn oven down to 350^ for 25 more minutes or until done. Check with table knife inserted in center, as for pumpkin pie--if it comes out clean it's done. Turn oven off and leave in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and sool slightly.
Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream.
