My sister Dianne used to make pies for the Harbor Inn restraunt in Gig Harbor and for all our holidays, this is her Xmas pie; it's good served on thanksgiving also.

Ingredients For xmas pie

  • 1-1/4 c
    crumbled vanilla wafer cookies
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c
    heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 can
    whole cranberry sauce

How To Make xmas pie

  • 1
    CRUST: (9"Pie) Mix crumbled vanilla wafer cookies and butter or margarine and put in pie plate.

    ADD: Softened cream Cheese, whipped cream, sugar and vanilla, beat until fluffy.

    FOLD IN: Whole cranberry sauce.
  • 4
    SPOON into pie shell; freeze 10 minutes before serving.
