Ingredients

  • 1 package graham cracker pie crust
  • 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin
  • 1 can (14 oz.) eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon each - ground ginger, nutmeg and salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cold
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

How To Make walnut pumpkin pie

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, egg, 3/4 tsp. cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and salt; mix well. Pour into crust.
  • Step 2
    Bake in a preheated 425-degree oven for 15 minutes. Remove pie. Reduce oven to 350.
  • Step 3
    Combine sugar, flour and remaining 1/2 tsp. cinnamon; cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in walnuts. Sprinkle walnut mixture over pie.
  • Step 4
    Bake 40 minutes at 350 or until knife inserted comes out clean.
