  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 - eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 - 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • - whipped topping

How To Make texas pecan pie

  • Step 1
    Mix syrup, brown sugar, salt, butter, and vanilla. Mix in eggs. Add pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until set. Serve with dollop of whipped topping. Makes 6 servings.
