This is a recipe my mother was given years ago when she worked as head cook for Holiday Inn. Its so easy, and my very favorite sugar cream pie.. and my families too!!

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups half and half cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons heaping with corn starch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1 - baked pie crust,, 9 inch
How To Make tea room sugar cream pie

Step 1In sauce pan combine butter, half and half, sugar, and cornstarch,, Mix and cook on medium heat until thickened,, Stirring constantly,, then remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Place in a 9 inch pre baked pie shell Sprinkle the top with nutmeg. let cool before serving
