Yummy yum yum you don't have to say much about this pie.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick )
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 - eggs
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee crystals (not brewed)
  • 1 teaspoon rum flavoring or rum
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup chopped maraschino cherries
  • 1 - inch - unbaked pie shell
  • 2 cups whipped cream for topping

How To Make sweetheart fudge pie

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Step 2
    IN a mixing bowl cream together the butter, and brown sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, and beat well.
  • Step 3
    Heat a pot of water until hot. Place a stainless steel bowl over the pot to make a makeshift doubler.
  • Step 4
    Add the chocolate chips and stir until melted. Let cool slightly and add to the butter mixture along with the coffee, rum flavoring, and almond extract. Stir well until blended.
  • Step 5
    Stir in the flour and cherries. Pour into the pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool and serve with whipped topping.
