Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 2 cups half n half
- 1/2 cup margarine, cut in pieces
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- - nutmeg, for sprinkling
- 1 - baked pie shell
How To Make sugar cream pie

Step 1Combine sugar and corn starch in a heavy sauce pan. Add milk to dry mixture and then add margarine (cut into chunks).

Step 2Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and starts to bubble. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Step 3Pour into baked pie crust and sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve chilled. Makes one 9" pie.
