Found this recipe of long time ago in one of my mom's old cookbooks been making it this way for years. This recipe can also be used for raspberries and a lot of other berries. You might have to adjust the sugar for the other berries.

Ingredients

- pie crust for two crust pie
4 cups strawberries (hulded and sliced)
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, cold ( cut in pieces)

How To Make strawberry pie

Step 1

Put strawberries in a large bowl.

Step 2

In a small Bowl put the sugar the salt and the flour. Mixwell.
Step 3

Pour over berries and mix well. Pour into pie shell. Add 2 tablespoons of butter cut in pieces put on top pie crust flute edges and sprinkle a little sugar on top.
Step 4

Bake in 350 oven for 45 minutes.
