This is From Kraft Foods 1977. A glorious strawberry pie with a marvelous cream cheese layer! A family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 - 9-inch baked pie shell
  • 2 pints whole strawberries
  • - ------------------------
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup water

How To Make strawberry cream cheese pie

  • Step 1
    Combine cream cheese, first milk and first sugar, mixing until well blended. Spread onto bottom of pie shell; cover with 1 pint strawberries.
  • Step 2
    Combine remaining sugar and cornstarch in a small saucepan; gradually add water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Step 3
    Cook one minute or until mixture is clear and thickened. Halve remaining strawberries; add to cornstarch mixture. Pour over whole strawberries. Chill several hours or overnight.
