Fruit cobblers are a go-to summertime dessert and after one bite you'll be making this strawberry one again and again. A strawberry cobbler is always wonderful with its buttery sweet cake and a dollop of whipped cream on top. This version has cubes of cream cheese baked in. The tart and sweet strawberries are delicious with the bites of cream cheese. Easy to make, this summer dessert just melts in your mouth.

Ingredients For strawberries and cream cobbler

  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1
    egg, beaten lightly
  • 1 c
    whole milk
  • 1 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 pt
    strawberries, capped and chopped into med size pieces
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese, cut into small cubes

How To Make strawberries and cream cobbler

  • Pouring melted butter into a baking dish.

    Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter and pour into a 9x13 or 3-quart baking dish.
  • Whisking together dry ingredients.

    Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Adding egg and milk to the dry ingredients.

    Then add milk and egg to the dry ingredients to make the batter.
  • Pouring batter over the melted butter.

    Pour into the baking dish on top of melted butter.
  • Placing strawberries into the batter.

    Then place strawberries into the batter and space them out.
  • Adding cubes of cream cheese to the dish.

    Then add cubed cream cheese.
  • Strawberry cobbler baked until golden brown.
