sour cream raisin pie
Recipe given to me by Aunt Ida. This was one of my Father's favorite pies and one of mine also.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 - egg yolks (set whites aside)
- - the egg whites may be used for merangue or save for a different recipe
How To Make sour cream raisin pie

Step 11 pie crust prepared and baked 8" ro 9"

Step 2Mix dry ingredients, flour, cinnamon, cloves and sugar. Add to it the milk, and sour cream. Mix well. Add raisins. heat but do not boil. Add a small amount of the heated mix to the mixed egg yolks.

Step 3Add egg mix back into the hot mixture and cook until thickened. Be careful you don't scorch it. When thickened enough pour into the baked crust, cool.

Step 4You can put a merangue on it before it cools or whip cream after it is cool. Either would be good.
