Ingredients
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp. sour cream
- 2 tablespoons ice water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 21/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cake flour
- 1/2 cup butter, unsalted, cold
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening, chilled
How To Make sour cream pie crust dough

Step 1Combine sour cream,water, sugar and salt in small bowl.Cut in butter and shortening with fingers or pastry blender (you know I use my fingers :). mix to course meal.,

Step 2Add sour cream mixture and stir just until dough forms. turn out unto lightly floured work surface,Divide dough in half. Form each half into ball; flatten to disk. wrap in plastic and refrigerate 1 hour. or can freeze ahead for a month
