Love this tart and sweet pie

Ingredients

  • 1 - 9 inch pie shell baked
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large limes zested about 2 tsp.
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces cool whip

How To Make sour cream and lime pie

  • Step 1
    Combine the sugar, cornstarch, lime zest, lime juice, heavy cream and butter in a medium saucepan. Place over medium heat and cook until the mixture thickens.
  • Step 2
    Remove from heat and let cool. Fold in the sour cream. Pour into the baked shell.
  • Step 3
    Top with cool whip and keep in fridge.
