shoney's strawberry pie
This is a very old recipe. It is always delicious and very yummy. It is easy to prepare.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons cornsarch
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 small box strawberry jello
- 1 quart sliced fresh strawberries.
- 2 - prebaked pie shells
- 1 - carton of cool whip
How To Make shoney's strawberry pie

Step 1Prebake pie shells

Step 2Mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, 4 Tbsp. cornstarch, 1 1/2 boiling water. Cook until thick. Remove from heat.

Step 3Add pack of strawberry jello. Mix good, & cool.

Step 4After it has cooled, add the sliced strawberries. Put into baked pie shells.

Step 5Refrigerate at least 2 hours, or until it has set up.

Step 6Serve with whipped topping, ( I spread a layer on to of the pie.)
