This is a South Louisiana Family Favorite. Easy to make.

Ingredients

3 - egg whites, beaten stiff
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
20 - ritz crackers, crushed
2/3 cup chopped pecans
1 - bowl of cool whip

How To Make ritz cracker pie

Step 1

Beat egg whites till frothy, add cream of tartar continue beating until stiff peaks form.

Step 2

Slowly add Sugar and baking powder (I mix the sugar and baking powder together first).
Step 3

Add vanilla, fold in crackers and pecans.
Step 4

Poor into greased (or pam sprayed) pie pan and bake at 325 degrees for 30 mins.
Step 5

Let pie cool off, then top with whipped cream of Cool Whip
