It's an Italian Ricotta Pie and I used Orange Liqeur and Orange Rind in it with dark chocolate chips. Enjoy

Ingredients
- PIE CRUST IS PILLSBURY DOUBLE PIE CRUST OR MAKE YOUR OWN
- FILLING
- 2 - 15 oz. cartons whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 - large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup sugar
- - grate rind of 1 orange
- 2 tablespoons gran marnier or any orange liqueur
How To Make ricotta pie with choc.chips & gran mariner

Step 1In a large bowl combine ricotta cheese, eggs, sugar, orange peel and orange liqueur. Beat gently until blended. Add the chocolate chips and hand fold them through the ricotta mixture.

Step 2In a 9 inch pie plate, fit the crust into the bottom, flute edges and fork bottom. Add the filling.

Step 3The second crust cut into 1 inch wide strips and cross the other ones under as lattice. Flute edges. Bake at 425 for 45 minutes. Refrigerate leftovers.
