Ingredients
- RICE
- 2 1/4 cups boiling water
- 1 cup white rice (can make it with brown too)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- ADDITIONS
- 1 large egg (beaten very well)
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley or dill (optional)
How To Make rice crust for casseroles!

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Prepare the rice ingredients. Let cool.

Step 3Beat the egg very well. If you want to add herbs do it now.

Step 4Stir the egg into the rice. Mix together well. Press rice mixture into a 9 or 10 inch pie pan.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Step 6Put your filling of choice into crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Step 7Serve with a salad
