This is low sodium, so I use Ms. Dash as a substitue for the salt. Takes a while to prepare but it is worth it. Enjoy

Ingredients
- 1 - chicken
- 1 can low sodium chicken broth
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 - onion, coarsly chopped
- 8 - carrot, sliced
- 6 ounces frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon parlsey
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 6 cups mashed potatoes
- - ms. dash (optional)
How To Make potato topped chicken pie

Step 1Place chicken and broth on crock pot or dutch oven and cook till the chicken is done.

Step 2Remove chicken from the broth, debone and chop coarsly.

Step 3Strain the fat from the broth and add enough water to make 5 cups. Move broth to Large sauce pan.

Step 4Add onions, carrots and peas, and cook till the carrots are tender.

Step 5Add flour to 1 cup water and mix till flour is dissolved. Add to broth and cook till thickened.

Step 6Stir in chicken. Prepare mashed potatoes and drop onto the top of the chicken mixture.

Step 7Place under broiler till the potatoes start to brown.
