3/4 csugar

3 Tbspcornstarch

2 cmilk
-
3 largeeggs, separated

1 can(s)crushed pineapple (drained)

1 tspvanilla

1 1/2 Tbspbutter
How to Make Pineapple Cream Pie
- Mix sugar & cornstarch in heavy saucepan
- Add milk & mix well. Cook on med heat until bubbly. Cook for 2 min. Stir constantly.
- Remove from heat & temper egg yolks. Add to mixture & cook for another 2 min stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat. Add vanilla & butter. Add drained pineapple.
- Pour into baked 9" pie crust & top with meringue.
