My grandmother's recipe. She had a spiral notebook with recipes cut from the newspaper or hand written in it. In her recipe book she had hand written "Very Good! Best pie crust I have found". She made the best pies! You can also use the aluminum pie plates and make several up ahead of time and freeze them.

Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/3 cups shortening
- 1 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 cup very cold water
How To Make pie crust

Step 1Mix all ingredients. Roll out onto floured board. Put in pie plate. Makes two 9 inch pie shells
