Ingredients

  • 1 - 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 4 to 5 - fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup heavy cream

How To Make peach cream pie

  • Step 1
    Place the peach slices in the unbaked pie shell in a single layer.
  • Step 2
    In a small bowl, mix together sugar, flour and nutmeg. Sprinkle over peach slices. Pour heavy cream evenly over peach slices.
  • Step 3
    Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven for 10 minutes. Lower heat to 350 degrees and bake for 50 to 60 minutes longer. Cool pie on wire rack.
  • Step 4
    Serve warm with or without vanilla or peach ice cream.
