peachy cream pie
An old family friend used to make this pie in the 1970's. This recipe is a keeper! It is refreshing and perfect for use with peaches that you may have picked yourself.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 stick butter, unsalted
- 2 cups peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 - pie crust shell, baked
How To Make peachy cream pie

Step 1Mix sugar with flour and salt and set aside.

Step 2Heat milk on low heat in a saucepan.

Step 3Add butter to melt.

Step 4Stir in flour mixture.

Step 5Allow sauce to boil, while stirring, for 3-5 minutes. Sauce will thicken to pudding.

Step 6Take pudding off heat and add vanilla.

Step 7While pudding is cooling, put sliced fresh peaches inside a baked and cooled pie crust.

Step 8Pour pudding over peaches and chill for several hours.

Step 9Serve with a layer of fresh made whipped cream on top (not cool whip) and more fresh peaches if you have some.
