nannie's pumpkin pie
This was my grandmother's recipe, and was my mom's absolute favorite pie! A very light pie, not as dense as most pumpkin pies. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 cup pumpkin, canned (not the pie mix)
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, well beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 - pie crust shell
How To Make nannie's pumpkin pie

Step 1Prepare your pie crust, place in pie plate, and set aside. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2Mix the pie filling ingredients together, and pour into the pie crust shell. Place in preheated oven.

Step 3Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn the oven down to 300 degrees, and continue baking for an additional 45 minutes.

Step 4Remove from oven, cool and serve!
