How To Make mock apple pie

  Line pie plate with pastry. Break crackers into pieces and put into pie shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

  Stir water, first amount of sugar and cream of tartar together in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cool to lukewarm. Pour over crackers. Roll top crust, cover, seal and vent.

  Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
