- 2 - crust pastry
- 1 cup ritz crackers, broken up
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar
How To Make mock apple pie

Step 1Line pie plate with pastry. Break crackers into pieces and put into pie shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Step 2Stir water, first amount of sugar and cream of tartar together in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cool to lukewarm. Pour over crackers. Roll top crust, cover, seal and vent.

Step 3Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
