This is a lower sugar version of a classic Apple Pie. It is best served either chilled or slightly warm so it won’t be runny. A scoop of Cinnamon Ice Cream makes the perfect a-la-mode.

How to Make Lower Sugar Apple Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°. Next prepare the pie plate by spraying with Bakers Pam, or grease & flour. Place the bottom pie crust in the plate and fit it well to the sides.
  2. Peel, cut, & core the apples. In a large mixing bowl combine the apples, lemon juice, sugar, & cinnamon. Mix well to coat all apple slices.
