I can't remember where I got this recipe, but have made it many time, I use my fresh from the garden pumpkin puree...mm mm good

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 - 9 inch graham cracker crust
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup whipped topping

How To Make layered pumpkin cheesecake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325
  • Step 2
    In large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Beat till smooth, beat in 1 egg at a time. Remove a cup of batter, and spread on bottom of crust, and set aside.
  • Step 3
    Add pumpkin,cinnamon,cloves, and nutmeg to remaining batter. Stir till well blended. Carefully spread over the batter in the crust.
  • Step 4
    Bake in pre heated oven for 35-40 min. or until center is set.Cool, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Top with cool whip, before serving.
