kathryn fudgy smooth chocolate pie
Another good friend of mine loves to make one of her specialties when we get together. I must say that at times when she makes it, it's a bit grainy... The reason why... is, that she does not disolve enough her sugar so... "be careful" do it by following my directions.. She makes it with a regular pie crust . I make my crust with chocolate wafers which I believe completes the creamy richness of the pie.

Ingredients
- 20 - chocolate cookies wafers
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 ounces semi-sweet square chcolate
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter

Step 1For the crust, crush the chocolate wafers and add the melted butter and mix well. Press in a pie shell.

Step 2For the filling melt the butter with the chocolate. Whip the eggs with the sugar for about 3 minutes then let it stand for about 15 minutes and stir again. Add the flour and stir in the chocolate mixture. Then pour into the pie shell and bake at 350 for about 20-25 minutes. Let it cool. I love it served with a "mountain" of real whipped cream.
