This is THE most delectable sugar cream pie I've ever tasted and it is so easy to make. The recipe came from the Indianapolis Star, July, 1992. Make sure your hands are clean for this one, because you'll be using your finger for a spoon!

Ingredients

1
9-in. pie crust
4 Tbsp
all purpose flour
2 Tbsp
cold butter (do not use margarine!)
1 c
sugar
1 pinch
salt
1 c
heavy cream
1 c
milk
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 pinch
grated nutmeg

Step-By-Step

1Blend flour, butter, sugar, and salt in a food processor until smooth. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
2Add cream and mix gently with finger (you heard me!), being very careful not to tear the pie crust.
3In a measuring cup, combine milk and vanilla. Pour over cream and DO NOT STIR! Sprinkle generously with nutmeg.
4Bake on center rack in a 300-degree oven for 1-1/2 hours, until wiggly.
5NOTE: Try to restrain yourself from eating the whole pie in one sitting.
