grouchy husband pie
One of my all time favorite pies. When I was a child my mother made this pie for us all the time. I remember laughing about the name of it and wondering if she only made it when daddy was being grouchy...lol

Ingredients
- 2 Boxes - butterscotch cook and serve pudding 3.5oz
- 1 can - crushed pineapples (drained) 4oz
- pinch - cinammon
- 1 cup - sugar
- 2 1/2 cups - milk
- 1 1/2 cups - pecans (chopped finely)
- 1 - deep dish pie shell
- 1 - 8 oz tub of cool whip whipped topping
How To Make grouchy husband pie

Step 1Bake deep dish pie crust shell as directed on package let cool and set aside

Step 2Mix 2-3.5oz boxes of butterscotch pudding in large saucepan add the 2 1/2 cups of milk and your 1 cup of sugar and add the 1- 4oz can of drained pinapples cook on medium heat until mixture comes to a boil stiring constantly

Step 3Your mixture will be thick like a pudding when done pour in the 1 1/2 cups of finely chopped pecans. Stir in pecans. Turn off heat and pour into your baked pie crust

Step 4Place in refrigerator until cooled for about 2 hours..top with 8 oz of cool whip topping . Use your pinch of cinnamon to dust your cool whip.
