grandma's glazed strawberry- rhubarb pie
Grandma used to make this pie every spring when company came and the rhubarb and the strawberries were nice and ripe. Always served it warm with sour cream on top, I like mine just plain or with homemade ice-cream. This can also be made with a lattice top both ways make a very pretty pie. Happy Spring All!!

Ingredients
- - pastry for 2 crust pie
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups strawberries (fresh)
- 2 cups (1" pieces) fresh rhubarb
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
How To Make grandma's glazed strawberry- rhubarb pie

Step 1Combine 1 1/4 cups sugar, salt,and flour.

Step 2Arrange 1/2 strawberries and 1/2 rhubarb in pastry lined pie pan. Sprinkle with half of the sugar mixture.

Step 3Repeat with remaining fruit and sugar, dot with butter.

Step 4Adjust top crust flute edges. Brush top with cold water and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar. Cut steam vents.

Step 5Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) 40-50 minutes or until rhubarb is tender and crust is brown.
