What a light, refreshing treat! This one is perfect for a morning bite or as an after dinner sweet. Try adding just a little bit of lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture for an added punch of flavor.

1/2 cbutter, room temperature

1/4 cshortening

3/4 csugar

1/4 tspsalt

1 1/3 cflour

1 tspcream of tartar

1/2 tspbaking soda

1egg

8 oz pkgcream cheese, room temperature

1/2 csugar

1 cjuice drained from canned fruit

2 Tbspcornstarch

·any chunked fruit {pineapple bananas. strawberries peaches, etc}

1 can(s)fruit cocktail, canned
How to Make Fruit Pizza
- Combine butter, shortening and sugar
add egg, mix well
add dry ingedients
Spread in greased cookie sheet
Bake @ 400 deg. 8-10 min. and cool - Mix cream cheese w/1/2 cup sugar spread on cooled crust
Drain fruit, combine juice with cornstarch cook unitl thick, add fruit
Place on creamcheese and crust
Refrigerate 2 hrs before serving
