I've made this pie "forever" for Thanksgiving. Both my family and my husband's family love it. There is never any left.

Ingredients

sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c
real lemon juice concentrate
8 oz pkg
cool whip, thawed
1 can(s)
fruit cocktail, well drained
1 c
almonds, slivered
2 pkg
graham cracker pie crust

How to Make Fruit Cocktail/Almond Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a medium size mixing bowl, stir lemon juice concentrate into sweetened condensed milk.
  • 2Add well drained fruit cocktail and hand stir just until fruit is coated.
  • 3Gently add/fold in thawed cool whip. Don't over mix.
  • 4Gently add/fold in almond slices.
  • 5Gently place mixture into each pie crust. Cover with reserved lid and seal well. Chill overnight or place in freezer until needed. Thaw in refrigerator several hours before serving.
  • 6Optional: Top with whipped cream and garnish with toasted almond slices.
