fried pineapple basil walnut pies
I'm no baker nor do I have a sweet tooth. I'm always looking for a quick and easy dessert for family and friends. This is a no brainer, easy and delicious. I hope that you will try this. It's a great finger food dessert idea for parties. Cooking With Passion, sw:)

Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
- 1/2 cup pineapple, chopped
- 1/2 cup pineapple cream cheese
- 4 large basil, fresh & chopped
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, divided
How To Make fried pineapple basil walnut pies

Step 1roll out pie crusts, cut into 3 inch rounds. this should make appromiately 18-20 pies

Step 2combine pineapple, cream cheese, basil & half of the walnuts in a mixing bowl

Step 3spoon about a teaspoon of mixture on pie crust round

Step 4fold each round in half. add a little water around the corners. pinch and crinkle to seal

Step 5deep fry each batch around 3 minutes or until golden brown. remove from oil and drain

Step 6drizzle with honey and sprinkle remaining walnuts on top. ENJOY!!!
